How much does headshot photography cost in Eindhoven?
A headshot session in Eindhoven starts from €150 for a short individual session with a few edited images, either on location, for example at Strijp-S, or against a studio backdrop. Team headshots in your office, extra outfits or advanced retouching cost more. Your final quote depends on the photographer, the number of people and the use.
Eindhoven's economy runs on tech and design: ASML, the High Tech Campus, Philips' legacy, start-ups at Strijp-S and a lot of engineers who need a professional photo for LinkedIn, a conference bio or a job move. A headshot here often wants an industrial or design backdrop rather than a plain wall, and the city has plenty of both.
Tell us whether it's for you alone or for a team, and whether you prefer a studio look or a location. We match you with a photographer who works in Eindhoven and can quote for your exact needs.
Studio or location?
Studio-style headshot. Neutral grey, white or dark backdrop, soft light, consistent framing. Best for company websites and when several people need matching photos. A photographer can bring a portable set-up to your office or home.
Location headshot. Shallow depth of field with a real place behind you. In Eindhoven this usually means:
- Strijp-S, the former Philips industrial complex: brick factory halls, the Klokgebouw, steel stairs and big glass fronts. Suits designers, engineers and founders.
- Around the Natlab and the Ketelhuisplein for a mix of industrial and modern.
- Stadswandelpark or the Dommel river paths for green, softer backgrounds, which work for coaching and healthcare professionals.
- The Witte Dame and the Evoluon, two Philips-era landmarks: a white former lamp factory now home to the Design Academy, and a flying-saucer-shaped dome on the western side of town.
- The city centre around 18 Septemberplein, with the "Blob" and glass façades, if you want an urban feel.
Tell the photographer where the image will be used; LinkedIn crops differently from a speaker page or a print brochure.
Team headshots at the office
Most companies around Eindhoven, from start-ups at Strijp-S to engineering firms near the High Tech Campus, book the photographer to come to them. What makes the day smooth:
- A room around 4 × 4 metres, preferably with daylight that can be dimmed.
- 5–10 minute slots in a shared schedule.
- Security and visitor access. Many tech campuses require badges or a host; arrange this in advance, because the photographer arrives with equipment cases and needs to know where to park.
- One consistent style decision (background, crop, colour or black-and-white) before the day.
Consent matters under the GDPR: let staff know how the photos will be used and allow them to opt out. For bigger jobs, see corporate photography or company headshots.
Timing and light
Indoor headshots can happen any time. For location headshots, avoid midday sun in summer; mid-morning or late afternoon gives softer light. Strijp-S has plenty of shade and covered walkways between the buildings, which makes it workable in rain too.
In winter it is dark by around 16:30. An outdoor session after work is only possible from roughly April to September.
Around Dutch Design Week (17–25 October in 2026), Strijp-S and the centre are crowded with visitors and installations. Great atmosphere, but hard for a calm headshot. Book for another week, or stick to your office.
Getting there and around
Eindhoven Centraal has direct Intercity trains from Amsterdam (about 1h20), Utrecht (about 50 minutes) and Rotterdam. Strijp-S is a 15–20 minute walk west of the station, or a short bus ride; the centre and 18 Septemberplein are right outside the station.
Eindhoven Airport is on the west side of the city, handy if you are flying in for a conference and want a headshot the same day. Allow 20–30 minutes by bus or taxi into town.
Parking at Strijp-S and in the centre is paid. If you are meeting a photographer on location, agree a precise meeting point (for example, the Klokgebouw entrance) rather than "Strijp-S"; the site is large and several buildings look similar at first glance.
How to prepare
- Clothing: solid colours, no small patterns or logos. Bring two tops if you want a formal and a casual version.
- Glasses: anti-reflective lenses help; the photographer will adjust angles to avoid reflections.
- Grooming: a fresh haircut a few days before, not the day of.
- Expression: a good headshot photographer will talk you through it. Tell them if you're nervous; a few minutes of conversation first helps more than any pose.
Retouching usually includes skin clean-up and colour, not changing how you look. Ask what is included in the quote. For more options, see headshot photography and LinkedIn headshots.

Eindhoven Headshot Photographer: questions
How much does a headshot cost in Eindhoven?
From €150 for a short individual session with a few edited images. Team sessions, extra outfits or locations and advanced retouching add to the price.
Can we do the shoot at Strijp-S?
Yes, it is public space and photographers use it often for portraits. Individual buildings and interiors are private; ask the building owner before shooting inside. Avoid Dutch Design Week if you want it quiet.
Can a photographer come to our office or the High Tech Campus?
Yes. Campuses often require visitor registration or a host, so arrange access in advance and tell us in the request.
How many photos will I get?
It depends on the package, usually a few fully edited images for an individual session. The number is agreed in the quote.
How fast can I have my headshot?
Delivery time is part of the quote. Many photographers deliver within a week; faster turnaround may be possible for a fee.
