How much does a photographer cost in Eindhoven?
A headshot session in Eindhoven starts from €150, and LinkedIn headshots also start from €150. Personal branding photography starts from €250, company headshots for a team from €300 and corporate photography from €300. Family photography starts from €250. These are starting prices: the final quote depends on the photographer, how long you need them, how many people are photographed and whether the shoot is outdoors or at your office.
Most photo requests in Eindhoven are about work. The city grew up around Philips factories, and today the Brainport region's tech employers, the start-ups and studios at Strijp-S and a steady stream of international engineers moving here for jobs at places like ASML in neighbouring Veldhoven mean LinkedIn headshots, personal branding sessions and team photos are far more common here than holiday shoots. If you have just relocated for a job, a new headshot is often one of the first things on the list.
The backdrops come from the same history. The old factory halls at Strijp-S give you brick, steel stairs and tall windows; the Witte Dame and the Evoluon are Philips buildings that still look modern; and when you want something softer, the Dommel river winds through the Stadswandelpark and the Genneper Parken a short ride from the centre. Families and couples shoot here too, but be clear-eyed: Eindhoven is a practical, modern city, not a canal-town postcard.
Why photograph in Eindhoven
Industrial heritage that reads as modern
Strijp-S was a closed Philips factory and research complex for most of the twentieth century. Now it is open to everyone, and the Klokgebouw, the Ketelhuisplein square and the converted halls around them give business portraits the texture of concrete, red brick and steel without looking like a generic office. For a personal branding session that says "tech" or "design" rather than "bank", it is the obvious starting point.
A design city
Dutch Design Week takes over the city every October, and the Design Academy works out of the Witte Dame, a former Philips lamp factory. That design culture shows up in the streets: bold facades, public art and a lot of glass. It suits founders, creatives and anyone who needs pictures for a website, a speaker profile or a pitch deck.
Light, literally
GLOW, a free light-art festival on a walking route through the city, runs every November. The 2026 edition runs from 7 to 14 November, with the city-centre route open from 18:30 to 23:00. It can make striking evening portraits, but the route is packed. Photographers work at the edges of an installation rather than in the middle of the walking stream, and tripods and long posing sessions are not realistic.
For business portraits specifically, see the Eindhoven headshot photographer page. For whole teams at your own office, look at company headshots.
Best photography locations in Eindhoven

01 · Strijp
Strijp-S (Klokgebouw and Ketelhuisplein)
The former Philips industrial park, west of the centre, now full of loft offices, studios, restaurants and flats. The Klokgebouw, with its clock tower, and the square in front of the old boiler house give you brick walls, iron stairs, big factory windows and wide open space. It is the most-requested backdrop in the city for headshots and branding shoots that should feel creative rather than corporate.
Best time: Weekday mornings, when the squares are quiet. In the late afternoon, low sun rakes across the brick.
Tip: Markets, festivals and events at the Klokgebouw can fill the squares at weekends, so check the events calendar. The Trudo Vertical Forest, a residential tower planted with trees on every balcony, is a short walk away and makes a green alternative backdrop.

02 · Centrum
De Witte Dame
A white former Philips lamp factory from the early twentieth century on the edge of the centre, now home to the Design Academy Eindhoven and the city library. Its long, clean facade and rows of windows make a bright, uncluttered background for business portraits. The Philips Museum, in the company's first factory building on Emmasingel, is around the corner if you want Philips heritage in the story.
Best time: Overcast days or open shade in the morning. The white facade throws harsh reflections in midday sun.

03 · Eindhoven West
Evoluon
A concrete "flying saucer" that Philips opened in 1966 as a science museum. It is now a conference and events venue. Seen from the grounds around it, the curved dome is unmistakably Eindhoven, and it works well for tech founders and engineers who want one frame that places them in the city.
Best time: Late afternoon, when the dome's curve picks up side light.
Tip: The inside is a private venue. Shooting there means booking or getting permission from the venue; outside shots from the public areas are the usual approach.

04 · Centrum
18 Septemberplein and the Blob
The central square, named after the date Eindhoven was liberated in 1944, with Massimiliano Fuksas's bulging glass "Blob" building and the stairs down to a large underground bike park. It is busy, graphic and very urban, which suits street-style portraits and branding pictures that need some movement in the background.
Best time: Early morning on weekdays and Sundays. By late morning, shoppers and cyclists fill the square.

05 · Centrum
Sint-Catharinakerk
The neo-Gothic church on the edge of Stratumseind, designed by Pierre Cuypers, the architect of the Rijksmuseum. Its two towers are deliberately different. It is the most traditional-looking backdrop in the centre and gives couple and family shoots a bit of history in a city that is otherwise mostly modern.
Best time: Morning. Stratumseind next door is the city's bar street, and it gets loud from the evening on.
Stratum
Stadswandelpark
06 · Stratum
Stadswandelpark
A large park along the Dommel, south of the centre, with old trees, lawns and sculptures dotted along the paths. It is within walking distance of the centre and flat enough for pushchairs, so it is a practical choice for family sessions and relaxed portraits.
Best time: The hour before sunset from May to September. Autumn colour peaks around late October.

07 · Gestel / Stratum
Genneper Parken
Meadows, woodland edges and the Dommel river on the south side of the city, with a historic watermill and farmstead. It feels far more rural than it is, and it is where locals go for family and maternity photos with grass, water and long views instead of buildings.
Best time: Golden hour on summer evenings. Early morning mist over the meadows in autumn.
Tip: Paths can be muddy after rain. Bring boots for the walk in and change shoes for the photos.
Best time of day
Headshots do not need golden hour: a photographer will find open shade or window light at almost any time, which is why many corporate sessions are booked around the working day or at lunchtime. For outdoor branding, couple and family shoots, aim for the first two hours after sunrise or the last hour and a half before sunset. That means roughly 20:30–22:00 in June and 15:00–16:30 in December.
Eindhoven through the seasons
- Spring
- Parks turn green from mid-April, and the Genneper Parken meadows are at their freshest in May. It is a good time for family sessions before the summer holidays.
- Summer
- Long evenings and a quieter city during the school holidays, when many residents are away. It is an easy season to book personal branding shoots at Strijp-S without crowds.
- Autumn
- Dutch Design Week in October and GLOW in November bring the city's busiest weeks. Book early if you want a shoot around either. Park foliage peaks in late October.
- Winter
- Short days, with sunset around 16:30 in December, so outdoor sessions are squeezed into the middle of the day. It is a good season for indoor office headshots and team days.
Weather and the rain plan
Eindhoven is inland, so it gets a little less of the coastal wind than the Randstad, but rain is possible in any month. For headshots, rain barely matters: the session moves to your office, a meeting room with a big window or a studio. For outdoor shoots, photographers usually hold a backup date or suggest a covered spot, and it is worth agreeing the rain plan when you book.
Getting there and around
Direct intercity trains run from Amsterdam Centraal in about 1 hour 20 minutes, and from Utrecht in under an hour. Eindhoven Airport is linked to the central station by frequent buses, taking about 20 minutes. Strijp-S is a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride west of Eindhoven Centraal, and the Witte Dame and 18 Septemberplein are a few minutes from the station on foot.
Local rules and etiquette
A small portrait shoot on public squares is ordinary here, but parts of Strijp-S and the Evoluon grounds are privately managed. For a larger team shoot with lighting stands, check with the building or venue management first. For office headshots, your photographer will need a room of about 3 by 4 metres and access to a power socket. During GLOW, the organisers manage crowds on the route, so plan for a moving, busy environment rather than a staged set.

Photography in Eindhoven: questions
How much does a headshot photographer cost in Eindhoven?
Headshot sessions start from €150, and LinkedIn headshots also start from €150. The final quote depends on how many looks or outfits you want, whether you shoot outdoors at somewhere like Strijp-S or at a studio, and how many edited images you need. The Eindhoven headshot photographer page explains what a typical session includes.
Can a photographer come to our office for team headshots?
Yes. Most Eindhoven company shoots happen on-site. Company headshots start from €300. The photographer brings a portable backdrop and lights, sets up in a meeting room, and people come in one at a time for a few minutes each. Tell us roughly how many people are involved and whether you want a consistent studio look or informal pictures around the building.
Where do photographers shoot personal branding in Eindhoven?
Strijp-S is the usual first choice for its factory brick, steel and glass. The Witte Dame gives a clean, bright facade, and the Evoluon places you in Eindhoven in one frame. For a softer look, the Dommel parks are close by. A personal branding session often covers two of these, starting from €250.
Can we do a photoshoot during GLOW?
You can, with realistic expectations. GLOW 2026 runs from 7 to 14 November, and the city-centre route is open from 18:30 to 23:00. The route is crowded, so photographers shoot short, handheld portraits at the edges of installations rather than staging long sets. Arriving right at opening time on a weekday gives you the most room.
Is Eindhoven worth it for a holiday photoshoot?
If you are already in Eindhoven, yes, especially for modern, architectural pictures or a family session in the parks. If you are choosing a Dutch city purely for classic canal-and-gable holiday photos, Amsterdam, Utrecht or Maastricht fit that look better. Eindhoven's strengths are design, industry and light.
What happens if it rains on the day of our shoot?
Headshots usually go ahead indoors, at your office, a meeting room with good window light or a studio. For outdoor family or couple sessions, agree a backup date with your photographer when you book. Tell us your preferences in your request and we will pass them on.
